60km. One Mission. Stronger Families.

Fostering Hopes Foundation invites you to take part in the 60km Walkathon for Family Preservation and Child Protection, a transformative initiative dedicated to keeping families together and protecting vulnerable children in Nigeria. Scheduled for April 2025, this event will unite local communities, organizations, and key stakeholders to raise awareness and mobilize resources to combat child separation in low-income families.

Why We Walk

Child separation is a growing crisis in Nigeria, where children from struggling families are often sent to live with distant relatives in search of better opportunities. Unfortunately, many of these children face exploitation, neglect, and abuse. Since its founding in 2024, Fostering Hopes Foundation has supported six families with a total of 19 children, helping to provide financial aid, education, and sustainable solutions that keep families intact.

The 60km Walkathon is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a movement to ensure that no child is forced to leave their family due to poverty.
