Who are we?
Founded in 2024, Fostering Hopes Foundation was born out of a vision to break the cycle of poverty and give families the opportunity to thrive. Since our inception, we’ve empowered over six families and supported more than 15 children in accessing quality education.
We believe that strong families are the foundation of strong communities. That’s why we work with both men and women to provide the tools, resources, and support they need to build stable, loving homes for their children.

To empower families, provide educational support for children, and uplift families from poverty through sustainable programs, advocacy, and community-driven initiatives.
Our Motivation
In Nigeria, countless children from low-income families face a heartbreaking reality: parents, unable to provide for them, send them to live with distant relatives in the hope of a better future. Sadly, many of these children are thrust into domestic servitude, enduring abuse, exploitation, and isolation instead of receiving care and education. The International Labour Organization(2021) estimates there are up to 15 million workers ages under 14 in Nigeria, many of whom are ‘house girls’ whose labour is often forced and unpaid or underpaid. (Freedom Fund 2024)
Fostering Hopes Foundation was born from the vision of breaking this cycle. We empower parents to keep their children close by providing financial support, funding education, and offering resources to help families thrive. Through our work, we ensure children remain in the safety of their homes, surrounded by love and opportunity. Every child deserves a chance to grow up free from fear and full of promise—and that’s the future we’re building, one family at a time.
